Emlékszem Anyura és az ő puha bundájára, aki sajnos gyakran beteg volt és sovány. Alig tudott tejet adni nekem, a bátyáimnak és a húgaimnak. Emlékszem közülük sokan megdöglöttek, még mindig nagyon hiányoznak nekem. Emlékszem viszont a napra amikor elválasztottak Anyutól. Olyan szomorú voltam és féltem is, a tejfogaim épp csak kinőttek és nagyon is Anyuval kellett volna maradnom még, de ő beteg volt és az Emberek állandóan azt mondogatták, hogy pénzre van szükségük és elegük volt a rendetlenségből, amit a húgaimmal csináltunk. Betettek minket egy ketrecbe és egy idegen helyre vittek. Csak kettőnket. Összebújtunk és nagyon féltünk, és még mindig egyetlen kéz sem jött hozzánk cirógatni, vagy babusgatni. Csak az a sok fény, hang és szagok!</div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> Egy üzletben vagyunk ahol rengeteg különböző állat van! Néhány vijjogva csiripel, van amelyik nyávog, megint mások kukucskálnak csak. A húgommal együtt egy kis kalitkába vagyunk zsúfolva és más kölykök hangját is hallom körülöttünk. Látom az embereket amint bámulnak rám, szeretem a 'kis embereket', a gyerekeket. Olyan édesek és mókásak, mintha játszani akarnának velem! Egész nap a kalitkában maradunk, néha gonosz emberek megütik az üveget, hogy megijesszenek bennünket, néha kivesznek minket, hogy megmutassanak az embereknek. Néhányan gyengédek, néhányuk viszont bánt minket, viszont mind azt mondja - Á milyen aranyosak! Szeretnék egy ilyet! De végül egyikőnket sem vitt haza senki. A nővérem tegnap este múlt ki, amikor az üzlet sötét volt. Rátettem a fejemet a puha szőrére és éreztem amint az élet elszállt csöppnyi testéből. Hallottam amint azt mondták, nagyon beteg volt, és azt, hogy akciós áron leszek eladva, csakhogy hamar eltűnjek a boltból. Azt hiszem az én gyönge nyüszítésem volt az egyetlen ami gyászolta őt, amint reggel kivették Húgom testét a ketrecünkből és a szemétbe dobták.</div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> Ma egy család jött és magukkal vittek! Micsoda boldog nap ez nekem! Igazán kedves család, ők igen-igen akartak engem! Vettek nekem egy tálat és eledelt és a kislány olyan gyöngéden tartott a karjaiban. Annyira szeretem őt! Az anyukája és az apukája azt mondta milyen édes és jó kiskutya vagyok! Úgy hívnak Angyal. Szeretem nyalogatni a gazdijaimat. A család olyan jól gondomat viseli, szeretnek, gyöngédek és édesek velem. Szelíden tanítanak a jó és a rossz dolgokra, enni adnak és rengeteg szeretet. Az egyetlen amit szeretnék, hogy örömöt leljenek bennem. Imádom a kislányt és ha szaladgálunk, vagy játszom vele azt nagyon élvezem. Ma az állatorvosnál voltunk. Ez egy szörnyű hely volt és nagyon meg voltam ijedve. Kaptam néhány szurit, de a legjobb barátom - a kislány - olyan óvatosan tartott és azt mondta minden rendben lesz, hogy megnyugodtam. A doki szomorú dolgokat mondhatott a szeretett családomnak, mert rém lehangoltak lettek. Olyasmit mondtak, mint súlyos csípő-elmozdulás és mondtak valamit még a szívemről is... Hallottam amint a doktor a felelőtlen kutyaszaporítókról beszélt és, hogy a szüleim nem lettek kivizsgálva. Nem tudom, ezek mit jelenthetnek, csak azt, hogy nagyon rosszul esik ilyen gondterheltnek látni a családomat. De ők még mindig szeretnek engem és én is nagyon szeretem őket! Ma vagyok 6 hónapos. Míg a többi hasonló korú kiskutya jól megtermett és pajkos, nekem szörnyen fáj ha csak megmozdulok is. A fájdalom soha nem csillapodik. Akkor is fáj amikor futok, vagy a hőn szeretett kislánnyal játszom, sőt a lélegzetvételt is fájdalmasnak találom. Megteszem a tőlem telhető legjobbat, hogy az az erős kölyök legyek amilyennek tudom, elvárnának de ez oly nehéz. Majd' a szívem szakad meg a szomorú kislány láttán és hallani az Anyut és Aput beszélni arról, hogy "lehet, hogy elérkezett az idő". Számos alkalommal jártam már az állatorvosnál, és a leletek soha sem jók. Mindig csak veleszületett rendellenességekről beszélnek. Én csak a meleg napfényt szeretném végre, futkározni és játszani és odabújni hozzájuk. A múlt este volt a legrosszabb, a Fájdalom mostanra már állandó kísérőm, már az is fáj, ha felkelek és inni megyek. Próbálok felállni, de csak nyüszítek a fájdalomtól. Végül betesznek az autóba. Mindenki szomorú és én nem tudom miért. Rosszul viselkedtem talán? Próbálok jó lenni és kedves. Mit csináltam rosszul? Ó bárcsak ez a fájdalom múlna már! Bárcsak felszáríthatnám a könnyeit ennek a kislánynak. Próbálom kinyújtani az orromat és megnyalni a kezét, de ismét csak nyüszíteni tudok a fájdalomtól. Az állatorvos asztala furcsán hideg. Ismét nagyon meg vagyok ijedve. Mindegyik ember ölel, szeret engem, a könnyeik a puha bundámra potyognak. Érzem a szeretetüket és ugyanakkor a szomorúságukat is. Végre sikerül finoman megnyalogatni a kezeiket. Még a doktor sem tűnik olyan gondterheltnek ma, gyöngéd és érzek valami enyhülést a fájdalmamban is. A kislány óvatosan tart és én hálás vagyok neki mindazért a szeretetért, amit nekem ad. Most egy kis csípést érzek az első mancsomban. A fájdalom múlik és béke telepszik rám. Most már meg is tudom finoman nyalogatni a kezét.</div><div align="center"> Álomszerű a látvány, ami elém tárul: Anyu, bátyáim és húgaim egy távoli zöld mezőn vannak a Szivárvány Hídnál. Azt mondják, ott nem létezik a fájdalom, csak béke és boldogság. Búcsút intek a családnak az egyetlen módon, ahogy tudok: kis farok csóválással és az orrommal megérintem őket. Végig azt reméltem, hogy hosszú-hosszú éveket töltök el velük, de nem lehetett. -Látják, - mondta az orvos -, az állatkereskedésben kapható kölykök NEM felelősségteljes tenyésztőktől származnak" Már nem fáj semmi, és jól tudom sok év fog eltelni, míg ismét találkozhatom a szeretteimmel.
